1976 Honda GL1000 Goldwing Limited Edition
Very rare bike. 2000 made, one per dealer. This is as found, saved from the sure death of the bobbers saw. I am the 3rd owner, this machine set in a basement untouched for 25 years. It had matching painted Vetter trunk, bags, fairing, engine guards, radio, Driving lights, and it was all awful. Under that crap, however is a very nice and original 36,000 mile bike. The Previous owner put a new battery in it, 2 new tires, and tried to ride it 2 years ago. The carbs were filthy and he gave up. Anyway.... I am repairing it currently, and making it as stock as I can get it. Its not perfect, but its mine. I will add pictures as I accomplish things, here it is in the previous owners yard.
This bike looked terrible, under Vetter package, and Vetter bags and trunk. It was all painted to match but time took its toll bad on those pieces. This, however Is what was under all that junk. I have added nothing except an unbroken right side cover.
